Here she is, named Abigal Elizabeth, named from her vin#s letters. That also means she was born in 1936. She has wear and nicks, and I also had to order an original tension dial, cause her's was missing. Right now I have $200 in her and she sews like a dream. I cleaned the case with bleach and sit it in the sun and today nothing smells. I found someone not to far from here that can help really clean her up, with new decals and touch up the nicks and scratchs. He even shines her up somehow and their's look beautiful, just like brand new, but not to much to take away from her original worth. Thanks for the encourgement and telling me to go get her.

Look great. How does she sew?

Very well! The other day I was fooling around with the tension and there is not dial and really screwed the tension up. So after fooling around with it for over an hour I got the tension back on track. Her new tension dial came today, and In a couple of weeks I taking her to the Featherweight Dr. I sit her in front of me by the Tv on a tray and we are making placemats together, and other small stuff. She will really come in handy when I have to tear down the sewing room when we get company. That is the guest room also, and when we have company it puts my quilting out of commision.

Congrats!!! I too have "Abby" I got her a ew years ago. She is from 1934 and like yours sews like a dream. Abby was so banged up and pitted in her paint. I have not done any fill on her rough spots. She was used a lot and her scars show that. I am thrilled you got her...good for her Great for you!!!
