Uffdah! finally, my Jacob's Ladder is finished. I love this particular variation because of the floating windmills. I also used ALL stash for this one. Not a FQ needed to be bought.
The binding turned out GREAT - I used parts of Sharon Schamber's method - except for the glue, and those corners are the perfect miter. Just wish I had the guts to move up from stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. Jacob's Ladder closeup. Here is what currently hangs on my banister waiting to be finished.
BTW: the pink square in a square is the result of testing the pattern for whoever was doing the snail trail. It still needs a border which I haven't decided yet. The ones with the yellow strip started from a 5" charm pack that was gifted to me. I LOVE THAT PATTERN. It will be quilted with a swirly pattern. (I promised myself to branch out) Oh, and the roll on the side is a pinned and ready-to-quilt Bodacious pattern with black and white music fabric. Temporary quilt rack |

Wow - the one with the yellow strips is so great for scraps. What pattern is it? And the BW one is totally stunning. I wouldn't care if all it was was stitch in the ditch - your sewing is great. Thanx for sharing.
