Hi, just wanted to show my tablerunner. I am fairly new to quilting and have taken one class in which we did the baby bowtie. Unfortunately, I didn;t make the classon the night we did the binding. Needless to say I have yet to try another quilt, but am planning to soon I hope. So I thought I just work with tablerunners until I can get the binding done correctly. As you will see I am not quite ready to go on to a quilt yet. So , I thought I get some real opinions, honest one's please. Thanks. I really do enjoy this board, I am learning quite a bit from you all.

That is such a pretty table runner. I think your binding looks OK. Great job.

Thanks, Littlehud. Now I feel like I may be ready to try a guilt.

Hi Jill, nice table runner, love your colors. You look like you are doing just great! You can learn a lot from all the members here :D I know I have and you look like you are coming along nicely

Your table runner looks great!! You may actually find the binding on a quilt to be easier, as I have found 90 degree angles to be the easiest to go around, the corners in your runner would be harder for me personally and you did a good job!!
I used this tutorial for learning binding, if it might help you gain confidence to try a quilt!! (Though I think you're ready!!) http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/2...-tutorial.html Cheers! Rachel |
I think it looks great. You will get much enjoyment out of that runner.
