usually i just write on the back but this is for a cousin who is a favorite of mine. she can no longer quilt so when i told her i was now a quilter she boxed up all her scraps, patterns, and ufo's and sent them to me. she is a doll, and she knows all the family stories. guess you could say she is our oral historian. every family needs one.
