DebraK 03-13-2012 05:48 AM

very cool! I so want to do that! sorry for all the extra posts. I'm not awake yet ;-)

Caroline S 03-13-2012 05:52 AM

That pattern would be a great masculine looking quilt.

Dizzy Dolly 03-13-2012 05:53 AM

Posting a pattern? Love it!

DebraK 03-13-2012 05:58 AM

It's in the 2012 April/May issue of Quilt magazine. Also, if you google, you can find it on ebay and there's a kit at a store who's name I don't remember.

Tweety2911 03-13-2012 06:17 AM

Beautifully masculine! ( I went to look for my book and can't find it. Drat, hate when that happens.) My brother would love your quilt!!

mighty 03-13-2012 06:19 AM

Wow I love it.

granmalovesyou 03-13-2012 06:21 AM

All I can say is WOW!!!

cuppi duke 03-13-2012 06:22 AM

I absolutely love it. Wow what a striking quilt.

MoanaWahine 03-13-2012 06:43 AM

Love the quilt. I will be doing that one some day, but first have to move and get settled in new location. Was it easy to do? That is as long as a person does not get confused with the layout.... And yes, I do have that mag and it is high on my to-do list :p

Thanks for the post.

BrendaK 03-13-2012 06:48 AM

Just love it. Was it hard to do? Hard long did it take? Going to bookmark this as I would love to try to do something like this. My DGS and DGD would go crazy over this. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

thimblebug6000 03-13-2012 06:55 AM

Wow looking good! And it's quilted as well, good for you!

Quilt Novice 03-13-2012 06:57 AM

Wow Great job!

grammy of 6 03-13-2012 07:04 AM

Would love to make one for my grandson! Great.

Tartan 03-13-2012 07:33 AM

I put the magazine in my sewing room to do also. It actually looks quite simple to do. Your quilt top looks amazing! I think I may reduce the pattern and make a wall hanging so I can see the whole effect of the pattern. I am saving it as my reward after getting some UFO's done.

QuiltnNan 03-13-2012 07:39 AM

love it!!! makes me feel like i'll fall off the edge

What a great quilt. It is very masculine. I love it !

raedar63 03-13-2012 09:07 AM

Love it! I bought the magazine for this one a while back, I wanted to figure out how to do it in black/grey/white and red. Needless to say I became too overwhelmed and forgot about it till now. lol

This is one spectacular quilt!

Kitsie 03-13-2012 10:01 AM

That could keep you awake at night trying to find a way through it! What fun!

Here's a link that shows the whole thing!

I love this quilt....like the idea of shrinking it to a large wall hanging....would surely bring remarks from all who saw it!

At Quilters Quarters in Leavenworth Kansas! That's my local quilt store. You should see the quilt in person. They had kits in grays, blues, and purples. Ann

Wow - very nice... I am wondering if you used the 9 blocks with the borders? Make a very large quilt... Was it hard to decide on the quilting pattern?... I felt lucky to complete the one block on the weekend.. May just make a four block Wall Quilt...Did you enjoy the journey? I posted photo of single Block A yesterday under "Monday What is on Your Design Wall?"

Sandy64 03-13-2012 04:17 PM

I agree with Tweety and Caroline, it would make a great masculine quilt. Since I have all grandsons, am always looking for masculine quilt ideas. Sandy 64
