Very unusual, you must have done a lot of pattern drawing to hatch all those lady bugs. It's a wonderful quilt for a little one.
|
My DH would really love that one. Good for you.

I used abdconsultant pattern shown here...http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-110832-1.htm
I added some thin flannel as batting. ( u dont want the batting very thick) I had circles of polka dot fabric , cut them in half, added the "v" wedge between the wings and a head... Machine appliciques those on to the solid brown side in various sizes..... When I sewed the circles together u get the solid brwon side over the pink with brown dots side creating a 2 sided quilt. I opted to leave the outer " brown petals" open to create a scalloped edge. Thanks everyone for looking and the encouraging words!!But I'm really sick of circles and lady bugs for a while!!! back to straight seams and traditional quilting! LOL |
Very darling!!! I love ladybugs and will be doing my classroom in ladybugs this year. Can't wait till the fabric gets to me in the mail.
|
I luv it, I'll bet baby Sadie will too!
