Here are the latest quilts I finished on my second week of vacation. Since I don't get to sew all the time while working I really love being able to sew as much as I want on vacation. For me it is a favorite way of relaxing.
The first week of vacation we drove to Spiro, Oklahoma to be with family. Beautiful county, I saw my first live cardinal, he was the most brilliant red, and he flew right into the tree in the back yard! Baby quilt, warm wishes Twin size, 10 minute block, quilt as you go Back of twin size |
Stunning! I love all the bright colors you've used! Great job!

What lovely quilts!!! Great job!!!

Lovely quilts. Sounds like you're having a wonderful vacation. I guess since I live in the East I never really thought about people never seeing a cardinal before. We have them at our backyard feeders all the time, but I always love to see them. They are beautiful.

Wow! such colorful quilts! Beautiful!

beautiful quilts. it's nice to learn that someone else takes their machines and projects to vacation with them. he fishes and i quilt. he won't even see a fish or smell one if i go out with him. then i end up looking like a fried lobster for nothing.
i'd be interested in knowing the pattern name for the second one- the quilt as you go one. if you can? |
Very bright and cheery quilts!

BarbaraSue - the second one is a "10 minute block"
