Okay - I love sharing photos. Especially of stuff I make. So I figured I'd make one thread and post all my pictures in it as I get them instead of posting lots of different threads.
So here goes. Last night I started a 'Wandering Star' block from quilter's cache. I've never done triangles before and I just wanted to mess around and see how it came out. So here's three pics: #1 - My First Triangles (in/from Squares) #2 - Playing Around with Triangles #3 - Wandering Star Block |

Annnnd here's another photo. Last night I finished up the Woven Rails Block from Quilter's Cache. It was a lot of fun putting together. I'm practicing the whole 'don't point out the flaws to everyone' thing, so I'm not going to say a word about my points.
BUT, I was wondering if these colors even match? The orange is what I'm not sure about. I love this block because it looks Western or maybe Native American to me. Takes me back to my childhood days where I watched every episode of Bonanza I could find. ^_^ |
You did a real good job on this star. I'm not good at colors, but, I think they look good. The orange seems to set off the star, and like you said, it looks western. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Kwiltkrazy. :) I've decided I don't care if it doesn't match (I've had one person say it doesn't), I like it alright and they keep saying that's all that matters. :)

My latest finished block - a very greeeeeen Winged Four Patch. :) I adore green...
