A little bit of fun..
 

In my mini group (I was the hostess) we are doing a little off key bit of fun. We blindly drew a 10 x 10 piece of fabric that each of us brought. Our assignment is to make a pot holder from part or all of it. Then next month we will blindly draw again.

Here's mine. The fabric that I drew was the fabric in the tea pot.

Aww, that's cute! blindly drew as in blindfolded? That's pretty good. I can't trace my hand with my eyes closed.

I think she means she drew the fabric without looking to see what was there, rather than drawing the teapot with her eyes closed. ???

Yup, LOL.
We put them in a paper bag and passed it around. I won't be keeping it, someone else will draw it. We can't keep the one we made.

Oh dear what a great potholder! I love the amount quilting you used on it too. I hate those ones that fall apart in the wash the fist time cleaning them.

The one wh gets that teapot is sure to love it.

I love the use of the fabric for the teapot! That is great. You did a marvelous job and it look like a lot of fun too. Bridget says it's a beauty and she loves it very much.

How cute!! Too bad you can't keep it. I'd like to see the eyes of the person that draws this one.

I use warm & natural cotton batting. You can also use insulbrite with it, but I never get burned without it. I make ALL my own potholders because the ones you buy are too slippery for me.
