That is so pretty. Blues and yellows are great together. I love it too.

Very pretty! :-)

It's beautiful. What a wonderful piece to have hanging on the wall for you to see all the time. Reminds you of the things you made with each fabric.

Great use of scraps. Beautiful wall hanging or doll quilt.

Loretta 02-03-2010 07:18 PM

OK First of all it is beautiful. Second, give it to that sweet, beautiful Natalie. Thirdly, you know who I am.

I too love blue and yellow--did you use the tube method to sew this? My grands love the little scrappy's I make as well. Thanks for sharing this cute quilt.

burnsk 02-03-2010 07:51 PM

Did you do this using the "tube"? Looks great.

jewelps 02-03-2010 08:47 PM

that is really pretty

mequilter 02-03-2010 08:52 PM

Another beautiful piece of work from you. Maybe Natalie can have a matching one?

cyd 02-03-2010 09:10 PM

What a lovely piece, and using the ubiquitous scraps. Now that you have made one, the second would be a breeze.

Riversong 02-03-2010 10:32 PM

Yes,Loretta!!! And nattie will probably get it in awhile...LOL!

Riversong 02-03-2010 10:33 PM

jljack 02-03-2010 10:34 PM

I dont' think it's a tube quilt. The sides of the block only have 2 pieces...the tubes have 3. I think this one is simple strip cutting.

Riversong 02-03-2010 11:32 PM

No,its a tube....it has 3 strips on each side, then sew both sides and cut like the other tubes,,,directions are on Missouri Star Quilt Co. tutorials...

My money is on Natalie. If my Addison or Natalie asked me (granny) for the moon it's theirs :-D

dkabasketlady 02-04-2010 06:07 AM

Beautiful!! Nana you know that Natalie's dollies need it!

Marcia 02-04-2010 06:12 AM

Really nice :-P

Bevanger 02-04-2010 08:26 AM

I love it. I have the same BROTHER machine you have

Riversong 02-04-2010 09:14 AM

Bev,do you like your machine?? I got mine as a Todays Special on Home Shopping,,,was a bity leary as I had a Brother before and it was junk. This one is very light weight but it seems to be a little work horse, and has a lot of great features...love the speed control and needle down. It was a good price and I am really pleased with it...I have used it a lot ,had it about 6 months. The Singer is the one I quilt on.

MaryStoaks 02-04-2010 09:15 AM

I like it a lot. Very pretty, you have good scraps!
