Being a little lazy here. I thought I would ask here before spending hours searching on line.
Does anyone know what this pattern is called? This was the only salvagable piece of a quilt I found at a yard sale.
I am thinking about making a copy. Although finding fabric to match may be hard. It seems to be made from a heavier fabric, the yellow. The stars seem to be made from shirting type fabric and chambray. I was going to try to do something with this piece but it is just too far gone. Fabric is disintegrating.

I don't recognize this pattern, but you might try tracing the pieces onto freezer paper and making your own pattern. I love antique quilts - always makes me wonder about the quilter who made them.

Hobby Nook (1955)or Kaleidoscope (1930) 6" blocks.

Me too. I wonder how old the quilt is and if the pieces were old clothes or left over from making the family clothes.

This would look great framed...acid proof matting would probably slow the disintegration. There is a real charm to this piece.

Its really dirty and has oil stains and is in worse condition than it looks in the picture. I have tried to clean it up to no avail. Framing would be nice if it was something in my budget but its not unfortunately. I tried going to get a picture framed. Good grief. Way out of my price range.

Wow! Makes me wonder what history this quilt has.
