Lucky Stars in the works
 

I haven't posted pics in a while. I lost some photos due to 2 computers dying within couple weeks of each other. Here is part of my Lucky Stars quilt that I am working on. Lucky Stars is a pattern by Atkinson Designs. I've made several; it's very quick and easy to follow directions too.

I have not yet pieced the blocks into rows because I am trying to plan it to quilt in sections. It will be about 90x90 when done. I just hauled it back out so I could see if the fabric I bought for the back looked good with it. Thankfully, it does!

I will post it again once it's quilted. It may be awhile. I do not have a dedicated quilting place and am not currently set up anywhere. Will have to reorganize the porch for that. :)

I just finished a quilt top made with an Atkinson pattern, although the pattern I used was Stars and Strips. I too thought it was a very well written pattern! I will have to look for the Lucky Star pattern you used because I like it as well! My quilt top is just a lap size, but I really love how the pattern I have had directions for baby, lap, twin, and queen. Does the Lucky Star pattern have those options as well? Your quilt is beautiful! I love all the bright colors, and you are right the backing is a perfect match and your quilt will be so pretty!

Yes, I think all of her patterns have yardage charts and directions for several sizes. I have several different ones and they each do.

I've got all the blocks done...but no where to lay them all out because it's huge! Hoping in a couple of weeks I'll be able to start the quilting.
