got the tutorial here:
http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/...ed-sheets.html very simple. the only issue i have is, they call for 45" (x 2 yards,) fabric, i could not even find seersucker in 45" widths. i ended up using quilters cotton.. i have left the 1/4" elastic pinned at the ends, until i can get to my daughters to try it on her crib, before i do the final sewing up.I sure hope it will fit! if not, no matter, i cn make it into something else! no waste here! i also would not cut all 4 ends at the sme time again.(they show you how to fold it, so you can just make one 8" cut,for the corners)...for some reason they were not equal.. so i would cut each corner out, seperatly next time. (if it fits!) The quilt The matching crib sheet.. |
