Remember Makower's "Fancy Cats" lines? Well, they are working on a dog group that to me looks like it's done by the same designer. Shouldn't be too long a wait for these; according to Makower's website these should start appearing in quilt shops sometime in September.
Here are some pictures; enjoy! |

What you can't see in these pictures - but it's absolutely delightful - is that there's a bit of gold metallic in these prints. I especially like the effect in the stripe!

And of course there must be dog bones:

These also go with Makower's Tivoli Scroll "basics". And also at least a half dozen Moda Marbles. These are great colors, I think!
|
I live the well-behaved dogs in the bath, and the bones, too. It's a cute line.
|
I hadn't noticed how patient they look!
Anyway... cats sure aren't like that. |
How cute!!!!!!
|
Oh my, that is the cutest range of doggies I have every seen, love the colour combos too :D
|
I have all the Fancy Cats and am still deciding how to use them. Now I want the dogs too. I can't wait.
|
Love them.
|
I am loving the line!! THis may be a line that I buy all of!!!

Oh those are too cute!
|
I really like them all. I sure wish they'd make fabrics with Pomeranians :(
|
These are wonderful fabric's, with
dog's printed on them. I really like the little Dachshund, the best!! :D Thank you for sharing these also. :D :D :D :D :D :D |
OK-you got me. I could pass on the GWTW and Wizard of Oz fabrics but I could never pass on Dog fabric. Yay--it's all cute and I like the touch of gold.
|
The doggies are really cute!! But how the heck did I miss the kitties
|
Oh my gawsh! I got to have these!!!!!!!!!!!!

OHHHHHHH, the Basset Hound is so gorgeous. We had a BH when my son was small, about 18 months to 2 yrs old. He would ride her like a pony, get off & he'd run around in his diaper. The BH, named Tine, would grab his diaper from behind & pull it down. That was their game & so funny to watch.
If anyone sees it when it comes out online, please PM me. Thanks. |
Sheila,
I googled it and you can preorder at this site: http://www.overrainbow.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi I am seriously thinking about doing that myself. Sounds like your son had a wonderful playmate. :) |
Thanks Nursie, I bookmarked it & will go back to order. Yes, he had him a friend of the 4 legged kind. He was 4 when we had to give her away because we were moving to Germany, so he doesn't really remember her. Sad, but a real nice lady got her & took her to live with her on her farm. I know Tina loved to roam there.
|
Too bad that you had to give up your puppy. It really is hard. I'll bet though, that you can call up a memory of him riding the puppy and it can always make you smile!
Our youngest daughter used to have a friend like that, her name was Brittany. She was a 28 pound dachshund/beagle mix. Missy used to sit and use my leftover Sunday school and Bible school materials and "teach" the dog. I think that is why she is such a good reader.....ahhhh yes, the sweet memories :) We have a real spoiled puppy (see my avatar) named Hero who lays at (on) my feet when I am sewing....and of course, one or both of the cats need to be on top of whatever I am working on! Did you ever try using a foot pedal with an 82 pound snoozing puppy on your foot???? |
How Fun!!! I can't wait until they come out :D :D :D
|
Yes, Hero is so gentile looking. Haven't tried the 82 lb foot workout, but at least you don't have to wonder where he/she is. You didn't say if Hero is male or female.
That's cute that your dau taught her dog. I thought my dau was eating her brussel sprouts, but she was slipping them to Tina who would sit beside her at dinner time until I caught on. Needless to say, we had a very healthy dog. |
Your dog ate brussel sprouts??? ROTFL
How awesome! Hero is male and very spoiled! We got him when our last dog died. I named him Hero because he saved me from being very sad and lonely. |
nice fabrics
