Mary's Bandana Quilt
1 Attachment(s)
Earlier this week I saw a bandana quilt in one of my groups and knew I had to make one. I couldn't find traditional bandana prints at my local WM so I bought the wild bandanas they did have. They measure 20' square, and the fabric wasn't too thin, and they are all cotton. I used 16 bandanas, and they only cost $1 each. They were pretty close to the same size and not hard to work with.
My 12 year old DGD will be visiting me next week and I hope she will make one too. Thanks to Stacey! |
What a great idea!! Love the colors! I have a 9 year old DGD who is learning to sew. This would be a good project for her. Thanks for sharing!

I have some of the traditional bandana in assorted colors that I am going to make one out of. I like the look that you have there. Makes me wonder what an old cow poke would say if you handed him the modern day bandana. hehehe!

What a fun, happy quilt! I didn't even know they made bandanas like that! I think our Walmart carries "regular" ones (my DH likes them... go figure). But these are way more fun! And the price was right! Thanks for showing us this fabulous quilt!!!

Sounds like a fun project to do with your granddaughter. Peggy
