Yes...it is needle turn applique...I loved making it! It was such fun to watch it come together..every square is different and I basically made it in the evenings while watching tv.Quote:

I remember seeing this quilt in the magazine and loving it. I was intimidated by the squares all being appliqued. It seems as though it would be hard to keep it straight. You did an amazing job on this quilt. I'm so glad to hear that your Mom is a feisty 94.....good for her....and you!
