McCall's Pattern Finished..fun to make!
 

This little wall hanging was designed by Carol Armstrong and was shown in the April 2007 issue. I bought the book at a local quilt show last Spring and I loved making this 25" x 35 1/2" quilt. It is going to hang in my mother's apt. She is anxiously awaiting it and after all, she is the one that got me started quilting! She says it is only fair that it comes to her! She is a fiesty 94!

Yes...it is needle turn applique...I loved making it! It was such fun to watch it come together..every square is different and I basically made it in the evenings while watching tv.

I don't blame her. She deserves it. I can tell. It looks like her.LOL It is beautiful. She is too, because of her sense of humor.

I remember seeing that pattern. I think it is special.

I remember seeing this quilt in the magazine and loving it. I was intimidated by the squares all being appliqued. It seems as though it would be hard to keep it straight. You did an amazing job on this quilt. I'm so glad to hear that your Mom is a feisty 94.....good for her....and you!

it's so cute.. I have that magizine (with the pattern in it.. I think?) I didn't realize it was so small. It's so cute. and a great way to use up scraps. Thanks for sharing.
