Memory Quilt
4 Attachment(s)
This is a memory quilt, there is a picture of grandmother and my grandfather on it. The brick on the border represents the brick that my grandfather and my uncle laid in the main streets in the 1920s in Okemah, OK; the town where they settled, when they migrated from Kansas. The quilt top is over 100 years old, created by my grandmother (Mammy). This quilt will hang in the library in Okemah, OK for one month, and then will permanently hang in the Okfuskee County Museum in Okemah, OK.
