After attending yet another workshop this is what I made.
It still requires the pinned areas to be stitched back in place to give the appearance of movement on the quilt. I'm not too sure as to whether I should use varigated thread if I can put my hands on some to match the fabrics I used - or should I go with a thread to match the background colour. I would love to have a bash at a full size quilt. In actually fact the quilt is only made up of 4 different blocks. I managed to get all the blocks made whilst at the workshop but had only sewn three of the four patch blocks together. I quite fancy one made in Red, White & Blue. It just needs to be the right R,W & Blues. Tisha |

its so beautiful.
variegated thread would be great and you could even do some beads or buttons to really highlight the folding work. |
