I have just finished this mini twister quilt. It was made with a 2" twister template and cheater fabric

It's so teeny in size & big in cuteness! I love it! I have a 5" Twister but have yet to make one. I hope when I do that mine turns out even a tenth as cute as this little gem!

That is delightful. I have done the bigger template and made a cushion out of it. I found the cutting a bit tricky where you have to be careful not to cut too far and destroy the repeat rows for cutting. I enjoyed it though and will do it again when I have time. Well done.

It was supposed to be 11" x 12 1/2" but it came out a little bigger because I put another border on it.

Another ADORABLE mini!! I just LOVE them. I'm left in awe by the precision and talent exhibited by those of you who are able to accomplish such works of art in miniature form! Each mini I see literally takes my breath away. Thanks for sharing.

This one was made with cheater fabric so I didn't sew the 3" squares together.

Floralfab 06-16-2012 01:07 PM

I love it!! I'm gonna try making a twister quilt soon.

katydidkg 06-18-2012 04:10 AM

This is so cute ! I like the navy border, it makes the twists just pop. I have two pattens for the small twister mats, just haven't slowed down long enough to try them, they will take patience to piece the beginning squares !

nhnative 06-18-2012 05:48 AM

It's actually a black border. I guess the pic is not true to color. I'm going to make another one without the border. And I'm going to make a patriotic table runner. Now I need to find the red, white, and blue charm pack I saw somewhere.
