I'm still working on my Block of the Month blocks. I have 9 totally done now.....going to keep doing them throughout the year and do extras to make the quilt even larger. :) My Dh had the bright idea since it is a civil war quilt (using civil war fabrics) that I should take each block and outline it with rebel flag material....... I said UM NO! He said-well it's a civil war quilt........ ???? I said well, we'll have to do a different quilt for that dear. Am I the only one that thinks this is crazy????

I love your blocks so far. But I agree, rebel flag material might be a little too much.

He can have his rebel flag quilt some day, but not with your pretty fabrics. I think it would clash a bit.

I love your blocks. The white is perfect. I think the rebel flag fabric would take away from the blocks. Your right......maybe in another quilt.

Your blocks are beautiful.

The blocks themselves are 12 1/2 then we add the sashing and cut them down to 14 1/2". Mine haven't been cut down yet. I'll post my other ones so you can see if you like. :)

I will have to add my others when I get home tonight didn't take the completed picture of a couple of them.

Your blocks are beautiful! Too beautiful to have distraction from the rebel flag fabric. That could be a whole different quilt in itself.
