I was on a work-related trip and took along this to work on. Before I left I gave my mother a fleece robe for her birthday a week ago (mainly because she is ALWAYS cold). When I got back she mentioned that I had forgot my quilt. Apparently, she had forgotten that she had claimed it back in October (she has a tendency to do that-and not just for herself). Or that I had to go back and insert sashing between each of the borders and come up with two more borders to boot so that it would fit her KING sized bed.

It was my first attempt at a BOM and has a solid and floral purple motif. I thought that all of the pieced blocks looked busy.
