We all know the love and hard work that goes into each of our quilts -didnt have the heart to leave it, So I'm giving this one a new home.. |
nice quilt and nice price :D You know it will hold up for many, many years to come!
What a great find! The poly quilts are indestructable, super for kids.
my grandma who is long gone used to work at a curtain factory and she made quilts from the scraps.they were really thick, not traditional but nice anyway

It is beautiful. When ever my Thrift shop has something like that or I should say they are usually rags by the time they get them, they put a crazy high price on it and it just sits there for months not being loved.
Quite unusual to get one this nice looking at this price. You got a bargain.

I like it - the colors are very vibrant - looks like it's well made.
Great find and price.
Wow! Nice!
I recently read somewhere that polyester quilts are a new craze for collectors. You did good!
Love it! Great find and because it is polly I will hopefully nearly last forever. I think polly has its place too especially since that was common during the time frame it was made.

Gotta love a good thrift store score!

Love it and very glad it has found a home! I love poly quilts, warm, heavy and just full of love!
Lovely. I remember my mother making a poly quilt, back in the 70's. I wish I had it to remember her by. I'm glad you got it and know you will give it a good home.

Wow, what a great find. So glad that you are able to give it a good home.
WOW! What a great quilt! I certainly would have bought it also. The price you paid is a steal. Do you ever wonder about the maker or what they were going through in their lives when piecing a quilt? I do & wish fabric could talk. Except when it is me as the piecer. :D You don't want to hear some of my conversations with blocks. :D :D :D Happy that you rescued this beauty.

This is an awesome find. Our thift shops usually have junk or almost junk and the prices are really higher than you would think. This is a very pretty design. Hope you enjoy!

This use to be my TV cabinet, with the TV's getting bigger and bigger I could no longer use it but could not part with it either. so now it holds my pots and pans, coffee maker, and bowls.
