Well, it seems that I remember saying that there were things I didn't want to do again, and now they give me a lot of pleasure. Changing our minds is a perogative!

She'll remember this some day with fond memories and come back to it. Once you've quilted you can't say no.

She did a great job and I hope she tries again. Whenever I finish a quilt I am so tired of looking at it and glad to put it away or send it away. When I get to see it again I am amazed that I did it and get inspired all over again. I hope this happens with your DN.

She will always remember the project that you helped her with.

It took me.... 8 years.. to attempt another quilt after tying my very first quilt. I can say with confidence that I will never tie a quilt again, but I do regret thinking that I never wanted to quilt at all after that first experience :)

I love her quilt! My first top was also done as a teen, completing a project my mom and her sister had started for their hope chests. Did not dislike doing it, but certainly not particularly interested in doing another. Fast forward xxxxx years and once again I'm making quilts. This time for my own enjoyment and loving it! So you never know when she will decide to continue.
