Hi again. These are pictures of my 3rd project. I did this one all by myself and made my own pattern, which I actually messed up about half way through the quilt. My friend Karla gave me a box of scrap material from a sewing factory so I decided to make her a quilt/throw out of it. (Plus a pillow to match, of course!)
It finished at 54" x 62". If you look closely you'll see where I managed to turn one of my rows around backwards while sewing the strips together. All my white and red rows came out perfect but my light and dark blue rows got mixed around. I have lights and darks in the same rows. Karla loved it anyways and said it gave it "Class". Then I made her a pillow to go with it. Karla's Quilt Karla's Pillow Front and Back |
I love your quilt and your notes
Do you make so after all your work? Its nice  |
What a beautiful quilt and pillow, don't worry about the mistake, just tell everyone that was planned. We're our hardest critics. Your DF and her DH will cherish this wonderful gift.

I also have a calendar to write on until I get my pictures developed, so I don't forget dates. Plus when I save pictures, I name and date them. That way when I get the pictures, I can copy dates off the computer or calendar. |
I think it's beautiful. You did a wonderful job. I'm glad Karla loved it. I do too.
