What a colorful quilt. I have been using fusible web in doing my hand applique for years. I just love the it.

One thing I forgot to mention; it works best with large "clunky" shapes. This shape had an open side. If not, just cut a slit in the interfacing in the middle and turn it inside out. You'll get the same result.

Your quilt is spectacular! You chose such brilliant fabrics that just make this quilt come alive! I have heard of this applique technique, but have never tried it. I will definetely be giving it a go after seeing your wonderful results. Thanks for sharing.
