My April quilts for AAQI
5 Attachment(s)
:) I got inspired this month and made five quilts for AAQI. They're all registered now, and will be mailed, after I take them to my Guild meeting tomorrow.
I was very close to having the 10,000th quilt for AAQI. One of my quilts is 10003! Oh well, I can try again when they get to 11,000! Hope you like seeing them! |
Wonderful work for a wonderful cause. Thank you for all of your hard work!
All very pretty. I really like the diamond one.
Nice little quilts. I tried making one a couple of weeks ago and tossed it in the trash. The little pieces just aren't my thing. I would so love to make some for the cause, and I will, just need a little more practice with small pieces.
Beautiful quilts for a great cause!
Lovely little quilts. I have almost no wall space and have thought about doing mini's. Thanks for the inspiration. It's a wonderful thing you're doing.
These are darling. I've had it on my list to do something for them, but been kinda slow figuring out just what. I love all your various designs- they are choice little quilts!
Those are just wonderful. great job and thank you for sharing
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
Oh, I love all of these! So great colors & patterns.
Absolutely wonderful quilts Leslie! How does one purchase one of the AAQI quilts? m
they all are very nie!!!
Those are beautiful Leslie. I am working on mine for May and will donate it to AAQI since we don't do such a creative project here in Canada.
Very nice Leslie! I want 11000 :)
I think one of the great things about making little quilts is that you CAN throw it out if it's not working, and it's only a little bit of fabric! I have done the same thing many times. You can see that I don't always use very tiny pieces. Sometimes, the larger pieces make something that is quite graphic. Try again!

What a great question! You can go to www.alzquilts.org and see all of the thousands of quilts for sale. The prices range from $25 to $80, I think.

If you mean that you want to make the quilt that gets the number 11000, we'll just have to tussle over that!
If you mean you want to buy #11000, you should get the AAQI news to your email or Facebook account, so you can watch for it! I'd say that it will only take about 6 months to get there.
