I was asked to post a larger picture of my current avatar, so here it is.
This is a fat quarter lap quilt that uses 9 fat quarters, plus a background and solid for leading. It is stipple quilted with stars intermixed from the back of the quilt. I used a variegated thread in the needle and a invisible in the bobbin with Dream Poly batt. Fun to quilt something upside down, but do take lots of care when layering I designed the pattern a few years back when I was in my jewel tone phase. I did try a few different colors or thread, but I didn't like the black fabric to get interrupted. Listed pattern for sale in classified if you are interested. |
