My Bonnie Hunter Easy Street Mystery Quilt Top
1 Attachment(s)
This is my version of the Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt Easy Street. Loved doing this mystery quilt over the holidays and love the way it turned out. I learned so much in the process... now just have to decide on borders. Any ideas?

I love it.
Wow, it turned out great! I hope you posted it in Bonnie's site too. I think just a wide red or blue border would be nice. You could do a pieced border but it might take away from the center a bit.
I vote for blue.
I think a narrow inner border of blue and then a wider red border would frame it nicely. Great job! Amazing quilt!
That is awesome!!!!
Good Job! I have all the units done but I have some deadline quilts to do before I can put it all together. I love your color choices. Keep us posted as you finish this quilt:)
Beautiful!!

Is that a great quilt

Lovely job I'm still putting the blocks together with mine. My first Bonnie quilt. I have really enjoyed the process too. Your colours are gorgeous.
I think it looks wonderful with no border.
Wow, BRIGHT and colorful! Looks great and hard to to do. Wonderful job.

Nice quilt ...
It's fabulous!! I haven't even had a chance to start mine, loved seeing yours!
wow I love your colors !!!!! I need to get on the ball and get mine done . Thanks for sharing it is beautiful.
That looks lovely. Very effective pattern.
Lovely looking quilt! I would go with a blue border or a combination of 2 large blue borders sandwiching a thinner red border maybe, depending on what you prefer? I think some blue will balance the red nicely. I look forward to seeing what your finished quilt will look like. Thank you for sharing. :)

I like it just the way it is..beautiful
like the idea of a small blue then a larger red border. beautiful quilt
it turned out great
I am with the narrow blue and wide red. But then I am partial to red. Great job.
Nicely done.
Nice job! Have you thought about a narrow blue border with a larger tan outer border? I'm assuming that is a tan/brown in the edge of the blocks.
It turned out fabulously! I'd choose dark blue.
Wow, great top! Perhaps a red border would blend with the red HSTs and meld the pattern and border.
Whatever your dark color in the blocks is- that's what the border should be. It could be a little one to make it pop or a larger one- you would have to audition to see, but definitely the dark color.

something dark and solid maybe to give your eyes a rest? or a cream color for a less bold look might be better. either way it is fantastic!
It came oh great! I would think a dark red or black border.
I'd do a fairly narrow border of the gold (?) fabric just to finish it. It wouldn't take away from the wonderful quilt top, but just complete it. Lovely!
That is such a beautiful quilt. I love the way it looks right now. Not sure if I would add any borders. Great job!
Awesome quilt, just love Bonnie, i vote Blue also.
I really like your colour choices. I vote for blue, but not too wide, then possibly bind it in one of the reds from the quilt. I'm jealous you are finished. I'm still working on steps 3 and 4.
Beautiful quilt, pattern and colors. Great job.
I say skip the border! It is just perfect as it is! Wonderful!
