I met the sweetest women on Sunday. She was selling her mothers stash for $1.50 a pound. I was so excited. I took my daughter to help me (grab) pick out some nice stuff. She had so much fabric it was unreal. I bought 70 lbs of fabric. Took me all day to go through the fabric and fold and organize and just plan ol' try to figure out what to do with it.

More pics I have one that my son saw and goes mom thats the thing where they go "bong, bong" Like ohm ohm. Cracking me up. I have no idea how to use this piece I am not sure what the symbols are and or how to even look for the meaning.

I don't know what it means, but I can really see that as a centerpiece for an awesome quilt. Maybe FMQ around the sun or thread painting? Very cool. Even framed it would be cool!

WOW, that's great! For people that don't know, a pound of fabric is approximately 4 yds. This was a buy! It's been awhile since I stumbled across a good deal like yours but I've found them in the past. May have to make a trip to Goodwill tomorrow--it's senior citizen 25% off day.

Sorry I don't know the meaning of the symbols on the sun and moon either, but they sure would make a great center panel for a quilt!! They contain some great colors to work with. Congrats on your great find and I know you will have fun playing with it. Hugs and smiles!
