My Dear Jane Blocks
1 Attachment(s)
I've started working on a Dear Jane quilt. 5 blocks done and 164 to go!! I am doing them in 1930's fabrics and I have no deadline for the quilt. This is going to be a project for fun and a distraction from work :^)

You will have such a full sense of satisfaction. I wish I were more accurate, I know 4 inch blocks must be a challenge. Have a wonderful journey.

Nice start. Not sure if I will do a Dear Jane. Working on a Farmer's Wife right now and it's a lot of fun. Challenging, too.
|
Thanks for all the encouragement everyone :-) I'm enjoying these little blocks, hope I feel the same at the end!!!
|
Looking good.

Using 30's fabric is a wonderful idea. I too want to make a Dear Jane quilt but I haven't decided if I want to use bright and colorful fabrics for a modern look or reproduction fabrics to make the quilt more authentic looking. I look forward to seeing your completed Dear Jane quilt.
