BRAVO!!!! I so admire anyone who takes this challenge on! I particularly like the way you placed the aqua tones squares to make a diamond in the quilt.
I am thinking about doing a Farmers Wife quilt which has 6in blocks and a whole lot less applique! What a treasure you have! Jody |
I cannot stop looking at this. I would love to make one just to hang on the wall to look at every day!

Lesley, your DJ is absolutely BEAUTIFUL:):) Also, congrats on the 1st place...it surely deserves that and more. I'm working along with the 2012 group on this board. Am way behind on some blocks and way ahead on others. I just jumped around....maybe not the best idea, but, it's what I'm doing. May I ask you a question as I've read this thread, but, not 2011's. Did you plan your colors before you started, or get a brain storm and do it as you got going? Anyway, JOB WELL DONE:):) and thanks SO much for sharing.

Lovely. I am intrigued by your border. I have just started a Farmer's Wife Quilt this week-end. So my long journey begins as yours ends. Congratulations on a beautiful piece of art.

I am new to quilting and am just in awe of this quilt. Can't imagine but hopefully one day maybe I'll feel like I can do something this beautiful.

What a wonderful quilt! I love the way you arranged the colours in a trip around the world fashion. I have always wanted to make a Dear Jane quilt, but am not there yet as a quilter
