I have made a DWR quilt before and I have just finished this one. It was done by the applique method using fine fusible interfacing, and stitching with invisible thread. It's the largest amount of hand quilting I have done.
I embroidered the label on my Janome 10001. it looks wonky but it's not in real life. The design was not my choice and the poem was written by my son-in-law. He is best man at the wedding in July. I used random lengths of left over fabric all joined together for the binding. Hope you like it. Double Wedding Ring |
