Had too much fun deciding on the "right" colors for the blocks. This was my first attempt at hand quilting. Gave up on the idea of small stitches and tried for consistant. :o |

Really cool! Just learned how to hand quilt at a retreat this week. Don't know how much I will do but my stitches are consistent but big.
love the colours and your quilting looks great - consistent size is brilliant, you will probably find after a while that your stitches will get smaller, keep going with the handquilting x
Beautiful! Love the bright colors you used. Yea Texas!
Texas my Texas! This is fabulous! Better not let my "lone star" DH see it! LOL!
I love the star pattern in the quilting for the lone star state. love your quilt. Keep quilting. Hand quilting is so rewarding.
I've been hand quilting for over 20 yrs. It takes practice but your stitches will get smaller. |
VERY nice! I love how there's little HST thrown in there for interest!

Great job.
Very beautiful, I like the colours.
very nice!!!!!

Colors really represent topography of Texas -dry and hot in southwest and cool and wet in eastern counties. Well, sometimes it's cool and wet. Central Texas could still use some rain now.
How clever is this.
Love your colors.. |
Really beautiful !!! Colors from the Piney Woods to El Capitan !! We do love our Texas !!!
Texas never looked better!! I love it.
Great job, love the color combo, looks like Texas terrain, green eastern Texas, dryer as you go west.
