You can look for just the right material while here, at Mary Jo's LOL
the blue in this square came from there.
You will do great!

Way to go Ninnie. That is such a difficult looking pattern, but I'm sure you can conquer all those obstacles in PP'ing. Can't wait to see more. {{{HUGS}}}

Nice job looks really good to me and I love the colors

Ninnie 03-23-2010 03:01 AM

Thanks! the flowered material is from the collection called Cottage Romance. Isn't it just wonderful! My SQA sent me a FQ, and when she saw how much I loved it, she sent me a whole yard!! :-D :-D
I have been on line looking for it, wanting to order 2 more yards, but the only place I found so far only had 1/3 of a yard  So, I will use what I have and try to just make a wall hanging. It is a beautiful collection for sure.
Here is where i found it. If you find any with yardage, please let me know :-D

Beautiful, great work!!!

Toto's Mom 03-24-2010 09:35 PM

You did a great job. I decided to give PP a shot, and just printed out a couple of sheets I found online.
Mine was not NEAR as successful as yours.
Back to the drawing board. I had so many "operator errors" that my butterfly turned into a nightmare.

wvdek 03-24-2010 09:42 PM

Way to go Ninnie. Now there is no stopping you.

I ordered Carol Doaks DVD, and she made that light bulb go on in my dense head

Boy my first one sure doesnt look that good. Jolo

Toto's Mom 03-25-2010 07:33 PM

Thanks, Ninnie!!!! I went to the Carol Doaks site, and found enough books and CDs that I didn't even know I wanted until I saw this!!! It says her books have a sense of humor! Anyone who saw me trying to attempt that yesterday would NEED one!!!
I can give a whole list to my kids as marvelous Mothers Day and birthday present ideas!!!
I had lost all my hair 5 years ago, taking chemo, and since it all grew back, I was about to yank it all out again, over trying to PP!! LOL
