I used 1930's reproduction fabrics. I think it turned out okay :-) I DO need suggestions on a border color. I am doing the back in a pink reproduction fabric with little white animals tossed all over. I just don't know if I should use a solid or a print for the border?????
How should I quilt it? I am so afraid I am going to screw it up from here!

Very pretty! How about a purple border to match, and bring out the purple fabric?

If you know how to meander, that would look nice.

Really pretty quilt. Just use any of the colors in the quilt for a zinger, small border and then another color in the quilt for a wider border. Use the same color as your zinger for the binding. Makes sense to me? Hope you understand my garble.

Use plain colors. Sorry!

Very nice. I like the idea of a purple border. You could do a narrow border of one of the colors, cut 1 1/2" and then a second border in purple cut 4 1/2". Or use any color that you have enough of for a border. I like to use a contrasting binding on mine as well.

Nice quilt--I love 30s reproductions. I would put a narrow solid border first and then a wider print border. Bind in the solid from the narrow border. Just an idea.....

Welcome!!
