That is a great age to start. You are mature enough to get your priorities straight and also find the time to include things that you like to do and things that are relaxing. Quilt away!! Enjoy establishing a stash!

That works for me on two levels. As a quilter you made your first quilt about you. That's great. As an artist you didnot let you quilting blot out the face of you artwork by using too much decorative stitching. Great work, keep sewig.
