Oh my gosh Louis! Thank you so much! I can't believe you were able to explain applique to me! I thought you had to turn the seams under with an iron! And with small curves, that's almost impossible. I had no idea that was how you do it, thank you so much :)

Hi Barb! I do usually press the seams under on the pieces after clipping the seam allowance. Not really necessary but it makes a cleaner line sometimes. However the paper is fairly stiff so it is real easy. I got one of those Clover Irons (the little bitty ones on a stick :D ) but haven't used it yet. By the way the name is LOIS notice no u no e!
I'm just kidding really. I got LOUIS (a guy's name) and LOUISE so much, for so many years, I just thought it was a good "screne name". :P |
Sorry Lois! Actually i noticed your name was lois, and i thought i typed it without a "u", but well, typo's happen with me all the time, or i forget i've asked a question, and ask it again, drives my husband crazy lol, HD, early stage dementia, so hope you guys are patient with me lol

The bunnies are darling! You did a beautiful job!

Oh, thank you so much Lucky :)

It is a lovely quilt...no matter what you think of the applique! I think my hubby likes my very 1st quilt better than the more recent ones that I think are "better". He says that they have more "personality" and I know your grand daughter would love it even if it was a feed sack...which its NOT! Its great and you done good! I love the colors!
