and what a great idea to use found puppys in the centers. i am going to be looking at fabric in a whole new light from now on. never know what we can fussy cut and applique. you did a great job and i love the colors. lucky baby. |
Thanks for all the compliments,I found the pattern on the Quickquilts site I think....it was probably exactly the same pattern the you used Patsy! I couldnt find teddy bears the right size, so I improvised and used the puppies. I found the curtains in one of our local charity shops (which is where I get a lot of my fabric from)
I have a new great grandchild due around August, so I think I may donate this one to the local childrens hospice and start on a new one a bit closer to the date! By the way Chele, I just cut out the puppies and used iron on interfacing and then zig-zagged them on to the centre block! Karen |
