Here's the latest and I'm so pleased at the way it's turned out! I class it as a bedspread as there's no wadding in it....it's backed with a brushed cotton sheet. (we use continental quilts so dont really need wadding)
All the "plates" in this quilt were made from charity shop finds (mens shirts, pillow cases etc) so I'm doing my little bit to help the planet!! lol!
The brushed cotton sheet for the backing was new and all I'm going to do now is machine around each individual block just to hold it in place.

WOW - very, very nice.   And what a great idea. Maybe we shuld have a "used clothing quilt" challenge sometime! Would be fun to see the fabrics everyone would find.

Thanks Denise, I think it too me about 2-3 weeks altogether....its the cutting out that seems to take the most time. I usually have a couple of hours in the afternoon on my sewing so it had a good few hours spent on it! This is one that I'm keeping! lol!

Karen, that's the the nicest thrifty quilt I've seen in a while! If I live long enough I sure would like to do a dresden plate, it's so pretty.
