My latest "scrappy"
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished this "scrappy" I had started about 2 years ago. It was originally to be used at church when the small kiddies sit or lie on the floor during the service to play and read books. It had started with strip quilting long bands of strips and they where to be sewn together with plain coloured material. When I layed it out, it didn't look right and was put away. Lately I discovered something on the quilting board where I thought this could be something else I could do with those long strips. So on I went, cut them all back into squares and voilą, that's the result. I will keep it for the time being to be used for my grand-children as we haven't got any small kiddies at church right now, but it doesn't mean it will not eventually end up there. Thanks for looking!!!

I am a new quilter and I am looking for a narrow trim on my blocks. How wide did you cut the red trim? It's a lovely quilt.
|
Well, rather we should thank you for showing this beautiful scrappy quilt. The kids would really like it and would feel comfortable while sitting and lying upon it. I can feel your happiness that at last you have completed your long awaited project in a such a beautiful way.
