My latest "scrappy"
 

I just finished this "scrappy" I had started about 2 years ago. It was originally to be used at church when the small kiddies sit or lie on the floor during the service to play and read books. It had started with strip quilting long bands of strips and they where to be sewn together with plain coloured material. When I layed it out, it didn't look right and was put away. Lately I discovered something on the quilting board where I thought this could be something else I could do with those long strips. So on I went, cut them all back into squares and voilà, that's the result. I will keep it for the time being to be used for my grand-children as we haven't got any small kiddies at church right now, but it doesn't mean it will not eventually end up there. Thanks for looking!!!

A good way to use scraps. I'm sure which ever little ones use it it will be enjoyed.

I am a new quilter and I am looking for a narrow trim on my blocks. How wide did you cut the red trim? It's a lovely quilt.

I don't know .... but thinking the kids in the family must just get way too attached to this one to want to see it go !!

I didn't want to buy anymore fabric but a lot are given to me so I decided I will only make quilts with what I've got at the moment and if need be I'll only buy matching plain colours.
