I love the website I found most of these tree patterns on. (www.forestquilting.com) Thought I'd practice some beading for ornaments...guess I'd better get to work!
Leslee, those are wonderful, will have to try one. :)
They are excellent...
oooooooooh pretty. I'm adding a pine tree quilt to my long list.
Those are so pretty! I love the pines with the snow. Clever!

They are so cute. Kyia
How wintery they look. I especially like the trees with the snow.
I just love your trees!! I like the way you quilted your border on the 1st photo. They look very nice grouped on your wall like that! Great idea & I bet they look especially nice close up with all the beading. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I love that!! I'm an outside girl and find the trees so soothing. Nice work!!
I'm not familiar with foundation piecing, but it sure works for you!! |
Now THOSE put me in the Christmas Spirit!!! Thanks for showing them to us, they are absolutely beautiful!!
Karla--I think you could be tempted to try paper piecing. Check out the webside for the Quilter's Cache. There's a 10" block named the Red Barn! C'mon--I bet you'll give it a go!
I like your trees, these can be hung for the whole winter. are they all for you or gifts? Good job :D
pretty! i just finished the top left one in your wall picture.
i would like to do the one with the snow on the branches, but i don't see it at the link. :( |
Hi - these trees are adorable. I bookmarked the site to go back and make these after christmas. I would like to see a close up of your beading!!
I had been wondering who’d been chopping at the trees. HA! I love ‘em Leslee. Watching you stitch them on break isn’t the same as seeing the wall. See you soon
Leslee--I just may--you've inspired me!! Yours are just wonderful!! I bookmarked the sight and will see what I can do. It'll be easier sicne nanabirdmo tempted us with that string square--so I get the idea now.
The weird thing is thinking about sewing on the paper with the material on the opposite side?? That's what I read in some directions somewhere. Can't it be done from the top--or can't the lines be seen? |
Your trees are adorable! They are all so pretty.
Boy, all the Christmas Trees are getting me right in the spirit of Christmas!!
