My most complicated project yet - Y seams

This went together pretty easily once I got the hang of it - but a few challenging spots! I'm happy with it so far, and am shopping for backing fabric as I have nothing left of any of the fabric used on the front.

Wow, this is on my "to do" list. Even have the same pattern! You did a great good of selecting fabrics with just the right intensity to give the blocks that 3D look!

joyce888 06-11-2013 04:33 PM

Looks like mission accomplished!

catladyquilts 06-11-2013 04:37 PM

Incredible! You did a great job!

janRN 06-11-2013 05:17 PM

Beautiful-love your choice of colors and placement. Great job. I hate y-seams-----rank them right up there with a colonoscopy.

DeneK 06-11-2013 05:42 PM

Very pretty. I have a project that calls for Y-seams that I will be tackling in the next couple of days. Hope mine turns out anywhere near as nice as yours.

This is wonderful! I would like to learn to make Y seams. Where would I get the information?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I love this. Are they 60 degree diamonds? I've been doing an EPP of 60 degree diamond stars, and want to do something other than stars for the next one This is great!
