This cabinet was pushed into a corner of a friend's garage, and was missing the glass on one door. We bought it home, removed the spiders, cleaned it up, and my partner replaced the glass.
It turns out it's over 100 years old, and came from England! It's hand carved, and put together with pegs and very old fashioned nails and screws. The glass that was still in there is rippled, hubby says it's the original glass which is fluid and has settled over the years to create slight ripples. The cabinet on the left is the "new" one. Gosh. Thats a fantastic find. It hightlights your stash so well :)

Way better with fabric than china isn't it! ;-)
I'm thrilled... it beats the standard plastic drawers I had, and it was fun sorting it all out into shelves too. There were plenty of pieces I'd forgotten I had. |
What a beautiful cabinet!!!

Very beautiful way to store your fabric! I'm envious!
