Abby wants me to prove it is mine and not her's

aorlflood 07-24-2010 08:35 PM

Very nice! Enjoy!

Deb watkins 07-24-2010 08:37 PM

I have a Janome as well, great machine. You are gonna love it!

wvdek 07-24-2010 08:39 PM

Good for you. Maybe you need to get Abby her own. :I
Is it a model 3760? Looks like you have a decent amount of stitches and things on it.

annlouise 07-25-2010 02:50 AM

Isn't it wonderful to have such a nice machine! I took the plunge and bought a Janome 6200 2 years ago and it has done a wonderful job for me. I know you will really go to town with it. Happy sewing.

littlehud 07-25-2010 03:39 AM

What a beautiful machine. Congrats, but after looking at kitties face I think you have a fight on your hands. Funny pic.

sew_lulu 07-25-2010 03:41 AM

Congrats on your new sewing machine!

peaceandjoy 07-25-2010 03:54 AM

Oooh, trying not to be jealous! I've been wanting to get a Janome to travel with - classes, guild sew-ins, a yearly retreat. My Bernina, although much loved, is crazy heavy and it's a pain to take it out of the sewing table, tote it, then put it all back.

When I saw the first picture, I had to giggle and wondered if this was really your machine, or kitty's? Or maybe he/she is not wanting you to take time to sew but would rather you spend more time petting? Cute picture!

Have fun!

Nice Machine...enjoy!

lizzy 07-25-2010 04:10 AM

My husband surprised me with the American Quilting Association" 25th anniversary machine. It is light weight, 14-15 pounds which includes the carrying case. It has many features you would enjoy, needle up-down, speed control, etc. I, too, have a Bernina which I love except for the weight. Since it was a AQA 2009 promotional machine, several places on the internet were selling them for a good price.

I've been wanting a Janome for years now, they sew so quite. Enjoy,

Linda1 07-25-2010 04:20 AM

Very nice machine. I have a Janome that is several years old and I really love it. My DIL says her Brother is a Pinto and my Janome is a cadillac.

katsewnsew 07-25-2010 04:27 AM

Good for you! Enjoy, just let Kitty hang around while you are using it! Then I think she will be ok with it being yours. I like that #45 stitch. Does it have a name? I have to go check to see if my machine has that.

katier825 07-25-2010 04:49 AM

very nice! I used to live in your neck of the woods (Taunton).

rubinsml 07-25-2010 05:09 AM

That is a nice machine.

Enjoy the machine and your little kitty kat.

dkabasketlady 07-25-2010 05:53 AM

I think that your quilt inspector is daring you to say it's your machine,LOL!! Beautiful kitty & machine! Let us know if she lets you get any sewing done or if she learns to operate "HER" machine.

mrs. fitz 07-25-2010 08:19 AM

We all know it IS Abby's sewing machine and hopefully she will let you use it whenever you want to.

Enjoy!
