Thanks for posting. We can all get ideas for our own sewing areas by seeing what others have done. I like the idea of putting your sewing machine on a cutting matt. My area is a mess right now so I wouldn't dare post a pic. Maybe when I get it cleaned up a little.

I have just put in for planning permission to build a large conservatory on top of an existing kitchen extension, if granted this will be my sewing room so fingers x at the moment I sew in the kitchen or where I have my old hand sewing singer in the lounge.

Mine is in the living room. We have a small 800sq ft apartment and never use our dining room table, so that's where I'm at. Hopefully one day we'll live in something that has more room and I'll get to have a room all for me.

I've done a lot of sewing on the dining room table, corner of the living room or anywhere I can find space. I am enjoying my new space and your time will come. The best part about my room? It has doors!!!

I am loving pictures of your guy's space. I never dreamed that I'd want a room for sewing...and then became addicted to quilting! lol Keep sharing, I'm loving it!
