Now if only I could get my stash so organized...

Most of my fabrics are very organized, my scraps, however, are not. At least they are only in 3 different places!!!

That looks great. Wish my scraps were that organized.

My scraps reside in big clear plasic bags. I like your storage better thatn mine.

! =)

I actually am using more scraps now - since I know what's in there and they're all color-coded. I can pull out a chunk of a certain color and use it up!

Before I didn't want to dig through the stack and have to deal with cramming it all back in there.

I wound up with an entire extra bin of fabric that was a 1/4 yard or more that didnt' belong in the scrap bin! I'll try to take a picture of the rest of my work area tonight and post it here so you can see my chaos!

Very nice. I use clear plastic totes with lids. I have several and can look through very easily to find colors, etc.

What do you consider a "scrap"? I can't seem to throw any piece away, no matter how small it is. Anyone else have that problem? How do you organize them? Do you separate them by size? By color? Help.....

I have a box for non-specific fat quarters, a box of almost fat quarters (not quite 18x22 but I haven't cut them down yet), a box of 30's repro fqs, a box of civil war repro fqs, a box of small scraps, and a box of mediums.

And I can throw away pieces if they're too small!

For me, it has to be at least 2" square -- otherwise I'll never use it. the 2" can at least go into the yoyo maker...
