Here are a few of my shadow trapunto quilts.
I am in love ( and crazy) with this technique.
I made even bowls, purses and postcards using it.
I hope you like them.

Wow I absolutely love these. Is this hard to do? What is the process?

Amazing. Would you like to tell us how this process is done?

They are absolutely beautiful. You go back and hand dye the fabrics after you do the quilting stitches?

Here it is the essence of making my shadow trapunto quilt.

http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.co...nou-quilt.html

The first layer of the quilt is organza. The white motifs under organza are made from batting. And under these there are 3 layers (cotton fabric, batting and a backing)- like in an ordinary quilt.
