Yesterday I went to JoAnn's for a yard of background fabric I'm using in a quilt I'm working on. I told DH I would get 1 yard of it. While there, I noticed they had some Christmas stuff out & I had to check them out!! I've been searching for just the right piece of red to put in a table topper I liked & after over a year of searching, I'm ready to make do. I saw this red & it's so close to what I wanted! I put it in the cart. The primitive ornaments I'm making, I intend to bind with red or green pinstripe cut on bias...there they were in front of me. They too jumped in my wagon. Since I always try to be frugal because we don't have much, I was at war with myself all the way to the cutting table. With coupons, I saved $9.50 got my fabric guilt-free! This is what I got...
