Great looking quilt! Congrats on a son in the Navy; I too made a quilt for my stepson when he came home the first time after being away. I did an Around the World in nautical fabrics. Enjoy your time with him home.

My son joined the Navy last November and came home on the 18th for the first time in over a year. DH and I went to his boot camp graduation last Jan/Feb and had not seen him since. He's here only until Saturday night but I have enjoyed having him home for 2 weeks.
I took these pictures about 20 min before posting them. It was a gorgeous day out today. Wil wrapped in the quilt. He decided that he did not want to shave while home cause he is tired of shaving every day. He shaved his head the day before coming home as well.
